After being advised by a staff member my daughter brought the chiico bottle warmer believing it would heat NUK bottles which isnt the case. And that she could return it for store credit within 14 days. Not true either. When returned to the shop staff member advised daughter someone will test the bottle and be in contact with her the next day. Daughter stated for them to test it with a NUK bottle and staff member agreed she would. 2 days later no call back, go into the store and staff member claims bottle warmer works fine she filled it with normal milk in a tommy tippee bottle and it was fine. When asked if she could in front of us heat a NUK bottle she refused as there’s only 2 staff on ( only takes 3 mins) and then claims there’s no NUK bottles she could use so we offered 1 but then we’re told we would have to leave it there and come back tomorrow? Actually appalling service, I feel my daughter was treated poorly because she’s a teen mum. Bottle warmer was only brought because staff member told her it would work and now there’s 80 down the drain. Won’t ever shop there again

I rang to see if they have pregnancy pillows. The woman enthusiastically said they have lots of pillows in lots of colours. I drove from Governors Bay (sleep deprived) and when I got there they had one pregnancy pillow for 110. Why lie to get people in?

Utterly disappointed with their services. Bought my car seat yesterday and asked them if they offer free installation as I am not confident in doing so (as a first time mom). Staff last thursday told me to come back before 4pm so someone could do the installing for me. Next day, I rang ahead of time to inform them that I would want my car seat installed. When I arrive there, both staff members made lousy excuses and explicitly told me that it’s easy to install. Such a disappointment to have paid a lot for a car seat when I could’ve just bought it elsewhere where I could get a much better service. Save yourself some time and go to a different store

This was my first visit at Baby City in Christchurch at Tower Junction. With our little one on it's way, me & my husband went there to explore our options. The staff DAPHNE was excellent at her customer service skills and has complete knowledge about all the products we asked for. Being first time parents, we had all sort of questions & she was extremely helpful in answering and educating us on pros/ cons when choosing between different brands. She was very patient in showing us features of baby seats & prams over n over again, which is probably one of the most challenging things for first timers. We bought the basic baby gear and went back again the next day to buy a few more things (waiting on delivery for the products & then baby to use it). Now coming to Baby City, they have some great baby products especially for newborns. And a great range of prams, child seats, bassinets, cots, sheets, blankets etc. Definitely recommend checking out their products. The only thing I would not be buying from here is baby clothes as I didn't like the stuff they have. However, that's a personal choice. Again, thank you Daphne for all your help! You were amazing...

I have been there several times. Very little service provided. When you want to pay, no one care or notice that you are standing there and waiting to be serviced. Most of the staff are not that informative or helpful. Seems got a bit attitude going on. No wanting to go there again sadly.
