Actually very nice fish and chips. Crispy and not really greasy like a lot of other fish and chips shops. Plenty of tables and seating to eat your fish and chips on. Preferable since there wasn’t any tables that I saw along the beach front of Akaroa. They did forget our hotdog but promptly fried it up after. Overall a very nice Fish and Chips worth trying if you are in Akaroa.

My husband really enjoyed the chips but I thought they were a little dry - standard steak cut variety. The fish looked delicious on others tables - I'd like to go and try it another time. They did well in managing a high volume of customers without the wait time becoming too long. It was great to have both indoor and outdoor seating options. The place seemed nice and clean too.
Popped in for an early dinner. Service was prompt and we took advantage of the outdoor seating since it was a beautiful day. The chicken burger I got was fantastic. It was a bit tricky to eat due to the size but worth it.
The best. Walked past it before it was open in the morning. Coming back, it was packed with people and the line was out the door. The operation was effective so the wait was not too long. Most people ordered fish that comes wrapped in paper. We ordered the Blue Cod Fish and Chips meal and it came in a box with utensils, salad, dressings. It is simply one of the best fish and chips that I have tasted. Plenty of seats inside and outside the shop. Highly recommended.
The fish and chips was really nice, fish a little thin but still good, also good batter ratio to fish. Quite nice chips too. Would go back
Amazing fish and chips! Don't normally review takeaways but this place deserved it. Perfect grilled fish and crispy chips. Also the salad had cherry tomatoes and was so refreshing! Will be back again.
The fish and chips here are OK but if I'm honest I think it's a bit overrated. No more special than any other fish and chips shop out there.
