Beautiful cafe with lots of nice food options, I ordered the chicken burger and it was very tasty, one of the nicest chicken burgers that I’ve ordered from a cafe. Wait staff were very friendly and they even gave me an extra marshmallow for my hot chocolate which I was really happy about! Will definitely be back and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cafe in akaroa

Friendly staff, gardens are lovely and food was good. However, the owner didn't seem to show the respect for staff and front of house courtesy one might expect - shoving plates at workers taking payments, yelling antics in the kitchen. Also highlighted by his review replies on here.

Delicious food and incredible employees. Ordered the Risotto and the Steak Sandwich with Hot Chips to share! The food came out quick and fresh - loved it and definitely going to tell friends and family back home to check it out !

OK place for an evening burger and chips, both the chicken and Angus burgers were solidly nice. The side salad was naff. The staff were good. Deducting a star for the place removing its open signs at 6.59pm on a lovely Friday summers evening and turning other diners away, come on this is a holiday town and you guys are a service, not everyone eats before 7pm. Also no alcohol free beer, come on get with the times.

We went here for breakfast on a rainy day and it was just what we needed to set us right for the day. The coffee and food was fantastic and the portions were very generous :) I meant to take pics of our food but when it came out I was so eager to eat it I forgot

Absolutely loved it. We went for lunch, and sat outside in the lovely garden, and enjoyed a beautiful salad. A perfect spot, I could have sat there all afternoon!

Fantastic location, great food and service. Outdoor seating in the garden is great alternative to a normal restaurant. Excellent drinks selection for all
