My family and I had a wonderful escape for the weekend at this Lodge. Good facilities and great beach. Good walks. Close enough to shops.
An excellent place with exclusive customer service, I must say. You will love their well decorated spacious room. Excellent service and good food, keep up the good work.
We had plenty of correspondance before we left and did change dates, only to find when we were travelling up the place had been double booked. We were offerred a caravan on site for 30 over the phone. When we arrived she charged us 50 even though we told her we did not require breakfast. So it begs the question of are the prices advertised per person? It does not say anythiing about this on the website! The caravan was in a poor state of repair, had an outside toilet that only flushed once as there was no water supply. The caravan had not been cleaned and was also undergoing repairs at the time for leaks. Personally I think this was extremely poor service given we had been corresponding for 2 months prior to the visit and that mistakes and increased costs were unjustified. I would suggest avoiding this unless you can confirm COSTS and DATES at least twice before planning any accomodation at this B&B. Fortunately we had intentions of a single nights stay. We got about 5 hours sleep for the two of us during the evening. Find somewhere else to stay!
