We came up on the train. Tomorrow we will get the train to Greymouth. We'll worth the stopover. We got a private room which was reasonably priced. The place was clean and tidy. Free tea and coffee which is great. Nice lounge upstairs. The kitchen had plenty of space and all that you needed to make a meal. Its placed right in the National Park within walking distance of the train station and visitor centre. There is a cafe over the road and next door there is a supermarket and Cafe, you can also buy petrol there. There is a variety of walks to do. There is an easy walk to a waterfall just behind the hostel.

Great place to stay for any travellers. Hot showers and heaters all working fine. The dormitory is just a bit colder but not a big deal.
Really good hostels with a great situation (less than 20-30 min for the main tracks), rooms are quite spacious and clean, the kitchen is huge. The only thing would to get the heater stronger and more often during the day as it’s -5 outside :)
Not living room with a coach to relax. The hostel is not very cosy and the design is not great. The WiFi works well and it is very tidy and clean.
Nice hostel in Arthur’s Pass, right in the centre of the village. Bob, the owner is a top man. Recommended.

I had an awesome stay. Highly recommend this hostel. I called on short notice and the owner was very accommodating with the last room, a double private. Very clean, cozy rooms and tidy restrooms. Obviously, the entirety of the tiny little town of Arthur’s Pass is walkable. It was fun waking up in the clouds and hearing the Kea in the morning. I highly recommend the Otira Valley track nearby for a short but beautiful hike. Only suggestion for improvement would be to add some hooks/other places to hang things to dry within the room.
