Excellent part of the country to walk in, the Arrowsmith ranges rise up before you as you make your way. Easy going track, took us 5 hours with a few short coffee stops and the odd nibble. We did the walk late Jan and the ranges still carried a lot of snow, snowed a few days the week before. The hut is comfortable and accomodating with plates, pots and pans all there to use. Has water collection and a new toilet(as of jan 2021). No fire, nothing to burn, so pack prepared for the cold. So yeah check it out, it's a good hut.
