An interesting historical site and worthy of a quick stop if in the area. Down the far end of the wooden building is a room with an information display that's worth looking at - follow the dog signs.
Nice place , scenic drive , it's very beautiful
A cute little place to go but overall its neither here nor there. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you are coming past its probably worth stopping to take a look. Its kept nice and in good condition and has a toilet and facilities.
Beautiful place must visit
This is the gateway into the Ashburton Lakes and the Hakatere Conservation Park. If you like high country open grasslands, majestic mountains, and stunning lakes, then this is the place for you.
Historical sheep station buildings with a small exhibition on the natural and human history of the area. Nearby lakes, tramping tracks and wide open tussock grasslands set amidst spectacular mountains.
Great history and well managed station
