I am a commercial lawnmowerman and the belt of my mower was broken. He told me he had a new belt but refused to put it on as he was too busy. The job would only have taken him 5 minutes. It cost me 3 hours to get it done somewhere else (Lynfield mowers and chainsaws) who helped me on the spot. Thanks a lot mate.for not helping a fellow trademan.

Service is good at Albany Mowers, they always try hard to please. Although their prices aren't the most competitive I have purchased a lot of products from them, mainly Husqvarna, but I must say I did purchase a Victa (sold as commercial grade durability and a breeze to use) push mower which came with a hard sale to get my money. The mower was not cheap by any stretch of the imagination and I have had nothing but problems with it. It is heavy, not good to mow with and starts rarely. It is the worst investment from this otherwise good shop that I have ever made. I will not ever buy another Victa mower and if my issues are anything to go buy I recommend you to steer well clear. I have gone through 3 spark plugs already!!! Robin, your team are great but I strongly advise you to drop the Victa brand because they are letting you guys down.

Bought my mower here several years ago. Due to my usual place in Whitianga not taking weekend drop offs, rang and booked in here for a repair slot two weeks later from my initial call. Dropped off the mower on the agreed date and expected a week or so turnaround. 5 calls and 5 weeks later received my mower back, hopefully it's a top notch repair, time will tell I guess.

By far the worst service I have ever received. Phoned to find a part, was told they would call back shortly. A week went by... Phone again, said I hadn't got a call back, asked for the part again, was told they would call back shortly. Another week went by... Emailed, saying that if they didn't return phone calls, maybe they would return email. Asked for the part. Got contacted a week later saying it had been ordered (no one asked if the price was okay). Phoned a few days later, they could not find the part. Said they would call back.... Guess what?! Could not organise a p##s up in a brewery.

I took in a punctured tyre from my ride on mower. They very helpfully said the could fix it in a hurry. I collected it an hour later and rushed home to cut the grass. Unfortunately they left the nail in and it re-punctured the tyre. I took it back the next day and they fixed it for me for free. When I got it back everything seemed fine. No nail.... which was a good start. But I had to pump up the tyre every 3 days. In the end I got the tyre fixed elsewhere . Normally these guys are quite good. Hopefully just a bad run of luck.
