Did my CCNA here. Excellent teacher and lots of one to one support. Lots of practical exercises on real equipment to get you as close to job ready as possible.

One of the worse schools I have been to based on a promise of a job offer a manager called K Jun gave me and a collegue of mine. We both graduated with good grades and ended up jobless. K Jun so rudely went back on his word. To make the matters worse, more than half of what we learnt on an infrastructure diploma did not come in handy as only few employees were looking for those skills. On the whole, I can confirm that it is cheaper and more productive to do good online IT courses than doing the infra diploma to say but least.

AMES IT has the best reputation for IT training in Auckland NZ, I have successfully completed Microsoft and Cisco training courses with Ames. Throughout the training I found the tutors are happy to go the extra mile to make the courses enjoyable, and will provide the best support possible 100%. The qualifications and training I gained were high quality and have contributed much to my IT career - thank you AMES!! :-)

I think I heard about this place about 48 hours before the course started, and I still had the opportunity to visit the place, look around, and meet people before I committed myself. Registration was simple and streamlined. Over the 3 month course we did have a couple of tutor changes, but this didn't impact the learning experience; both new tutors came in perfectly competent, familiar with the material and our progress through it. Between the prescribed workbook and the tutors communicating with each other (often right in front of us :D) to ensure a consistent teaching style, any potential disruption to the course was minimised. After the course was finished, AMES booked me a time to sit the exam exactly when I was ready, and I started getting interviews for relevant IT Support positions almost straight away. My current employer found me through AMES' Grad Platform. The classrooms, tutors, and other staff remained friendly and open to me, anytime I see an old classmate or staff member on the street we greet each other as friends. I feel like I could just rock up to the level 12 classrooms and common areas and feel completely welcome. And when I'm ready to get more IT quals, I'm going straight back there :)

I would like to recommend AmesIT Diploma in Computing and Network Support as this will help you to start your IT career. Why Ames IT? I didn't know about the college before I met some professionals who are in IT industry. I took that advice and no regrets that I have successfully passed it. I was reading the previous reviews from students as they were frustrated with Tutors were leaving halfway through the course. Now, Ames IT has recovered from that period I believe and I had a fantastic time at college. The team of three Alex(A), Matt(MCSA) and Selwyn(CCNA) are amazing. They were so helpful if you had any problems they were available to assist you after hours. A lot of assessments were hands-on and they are a big help to familiarize yourself with not only routers and switches, but also disassembling a pc and assembling it and a lot more. Not only the tutors were helpful, but all of their staff was amazing. They helped me on building my CV and also in preparation for interviews. Although this was optional to get. I would like to highly recommend anyone looking to get into IT industry should start their journey from AMES IT. It provides a safe, professional and friendly learning environment with high-quality teaching, assessment and management of learning. As well as, regular and reliable feedback on student progress and achievements. I have just finished the course and already getting responses for interviews. One last thing, I should say that if you want to choose Diploma in Computing and Network and Support, Stay ready for some heavy workload when it comes to CCNA.
