I normally write reviews for five stars or one stars. Yesterday I went there for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I have been to Aubergine before back when there was one in Albany or Apollo area I think. I am very impressed with the eye fillet. The vinegar and the pumpkin on the sides are a perfect combination. It balances the flavour very well, give you the kick of the sourness and then the natural sweetness of the pumpkin calms things down. The tomato soup is very good too. I love the presentation with the love heart.

In one word: Amazing! Great food and even better service! They accommodated for me and my 20 guest. We had a wonderful time, such tasty food and kindness from all the staff. Thank you all!
This is the 22 menu as shown below. The Caramelised onion bread as a starter was excellent & I enjoyed the Smoked salmon
The food was okay but expensive for what it was, the side dish for one of the mains was missed and delivered long after the plates were cleared. No one checked on how our meal was or if we needed anything, and we were not given a chance to consider dessert before the staff began packing up and closing everything.... At 8.30 pm! Probably won't hurry back.
We enjoyed our meal at Aubergine. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was overall good and worth the money, although the steak was a bit tough. We will be back.
Sensational food! Lovely flavours made with fresh local ingredients cooked beautifully. We were very impressed and will return. Great service, well sized portions, attentive and warm staff. Wide variety of options, but the slow cooked lamb a stand-out. Also the fish of the day was superbly seared tuna. Nicely enough all mains come with vegetables, so no having to worry about ordering sides. 5 stars from us and we will return.
Sensational food, amazing hospitality, great atmosphere. Waiting staff are very welcoming. The owner/manager always personally greet you and welcome you, just like if you are visiting them in their own homes! Seating comfy and spacious. Highly Recommended
The 38 three course meal set menu was amazing! Great value, amazing food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend it!
