I had a clean out of my closet and had untold boxes of clothing and shoes both new and used that needed a new home. Auckland City Mission is a fabulous place that is there to help those that are in desperate need of help, like the homeless, the hungry, the ones needing assistance to get by but are too proud to ask... Quote: "The Mission provides powerful advocacy and excellent social and medical services to marginalised people in Auckland. The Mission works one-on-one with clients to address issues including poverty, addiction, isolation and poor health."Unquote, as stated in their websearch. They are reliant on donations of all categories from clothing, food, shoes, gifts for Christmas but to name a few. I am not sure how monetary donations go but surely there is a need. Hence my visit to the mission with clothing and shoes. Open up your hearts people, there is not one of us that can honestly say "I have never needed from anyone for anything"!! A little love shared goes a very long way in all directions️
