unhappy customer

A guy in the service department over the phone was dreadfully rude by forcing customer to "more importantly" listen to him first rather than the other way round. Very self-opinionated & condescending tone of speaking. However, that's absolutely fine as Auckland City Toyota - Greenlane will NOT even get my business. Made up my mind as soon as the conversation finished that I would never ever consider having my Toyota serviced or repaired here. IT PAYS TO SHOP AROUND AS THERE ARE SO MANY DECENT PLACES AVAILABLE IN AUCKLAND TO CHOOSE FROM TO HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED. UPDATED: Despite seeing so many people posting 1 or 2 star ratings here, I still rang Toyota Greenlane branch and gave you guys a chance. Appalling service shown is NOT AT ALL surprising given the unprofessionalism other customers have experienced too !!

Absolutely appalling service, especially from James who just lies about things getting done and then it never happens!! I spent over 38k on a highlander and when i FINALLY received it there were so many issues with it i had to keep going back and calling to get things sorted. Kept being told i would get it by a certain day and it never happened. It seems like once you pay over the money they don't really care and just take their time with things. When i drove off in my supposedly 'newly groomed' car i realised the front windowscreen had two chips in it, there were parts missing on top of the car where the roof racks would go, leaving the inside exposed (as on the photo), there were 2 seat rail covers missing in the back seat, I was only given 1 key for the car despite the time they had to find the other one or order a new one, i had to remind them multiple times to do this. I ordered a cargo boot liner which i was told on the phone had arrived and when i picked up the vehicle I asked where it was and got told it was on back order (just another lie from james). 4 weeks later they managed to fix a couple of things and then offered me a free groom for the inconvenience when i bring the car in to get the new key coded - well, we did this this morning having given them 4 days notice and my husband took time off work to do it, when he comes back at the arranged time nothing had been done so he still had to wait for the key to get coded and then gets told they can't do the groom today. An absolute shambles, their communication and service is just a joke - I won't be going back to this dealership.

A very late review from my end but very well deserved one. We bought our car last year and the entire deal was handled so well by Tony. This was the best customer service we received and Tony was excellent in handling our purchase.

Got a service here during july 2020 For 300 bucks they changed my oil and stared at my car for an hour Didnt fill up the washer bottles or give the insides of my car a wipe Then they tried to upsell me a full brake replacement (all pads and rotors)

Just read feedback below and it is what happens with us as well. After few days of purchase our battery gone flat and after 8000mks we need to replace brake pads front and rear when it says that it usually should be around 30,000-35,000 miles. Obviously car never been even properly checked before purchase. Manager there is arrogant person who would lie to your face without care. Never go there. Never. Each store is privately owned so go somewhere else but not to Greenlane Store.
