Fantastic Service If you want a thorough eye examination which is also reference-checked by an Optometrist Tutor, then this is the place. Plus you are also helping the senior optometry students, diagnose any issues/conditions. If you wish, you can also have glasses made up for you all at a very reasonable price. NO pushy salesman. 100% recommended!!
Long wairing times
My wife had her eyes tested and she was most impressed by the high level of service. They take their time and everything is handled in a highly professional manner.
A great optometry clinic manned by the senior students and supervised by their teachers. The examinations are very thorough, even more thorough compared to other eye clinics. Their fees are very reasonable, and on top of that, you'll leave with a glowing and happy feeling that you've help to shape future optometrists.
Unfortunately it is not well organised. I have booked an appointment and then once I arrived they told me that they couldn't give me new glasses as the prescription was old. So I asked to get a new prescription and was told that I had to book another appointment. So basically a waste of time.
Unlike private optometrists whose sole interest is selling you glasses here you get a complete professional service by students under supervision. I have been a patient for almost 20 years.
This is a great place to get a very thorough eye exam and eye health check for a very reasonable price (50 currently for an adult). You are also helping out by allowing students to learn as this is a teaching clinic. Students are supervised by fully qualified staff and very professional.
