Priya’s care was nothing short of exceptional. She is extremely knowledgeable with a very high attention to detail. Our pregnancy was complicated at times and we had many questions, Priya took the time to help us further understand what was happening and the reasons behind the options she presented to us. Her ability to transcend scientific jargon and communicate effectively satisfied my curiosity and helped make this pregnancy less stressful knowing that we were in the hands of a true expert. Priya’s experience shines through in the decisions she makes. The decisions discussed with us regarding our care from beginning to end were indeed the right decisions. She always erred on the side of caution throughout our pregnancy which ensured the best outcome for mother and baby. Whilst Priya acknowledged previous test results she also completed independent tests of her own to confirm those findings which was great because she picked up on certain things that would have remained uncovered. We felt at ease knowing that we were in such great hands. During labor, Priya paid close attention to the wellbeing of mother and baby. When things didn’t go as planned Priya always had a contingency. Priya orchestrated a seamless transition to the hospital midwives who then took over our care once she was satisfied with the progress of labor. Priya leads by example and her interns are fortunate to learn from her. The care provided by Priya makes me proud of the relative robustness of our healthcare system in New Zealand. The care we received was way beyond what we expected so much so that we have recommended Priya to friends and family who are willing to travel across town just to be under her care.
