Regular: always love Taise's work. Grewt service and great atmosphere although less waiting space so arriving just before your appointment. Book in advance they are generally booked for weeks

My husband has thick hair and a thick beard, which is very difficult to cut well. Was recommended a barber at Groom Room Ponsonby, so decided to check it out. We were greeted and offered a drink, and the vibe was friendly. Even more importantly, the barber was very knowledgable (I was amazed at how much there is to know), and knew many different techniques in which to approach my husband's hair. He now loves coming here as he knows his hair and beard will be cut nicely (and will grow back nicely too). He also loves the hot towel and after shave gel on his face. Definitely recommend, especially if you have a tricky hair type and are sick of barbers messing it up. You won't be disappointed here.
