As an employee of Bayvet for the past 6 years, I can vouch for the care and concern our vets and staff show to all animals in our care. Our vets are qualified, caring and very skilled surgeons. Google reviews cannot be removed or altered, so bad reviews will remain , even though they are sometimes untruthful and often times, as in the case of Paige H, defamatory. Unfortunately people hide behind pseudonyms and feel powerful, yet won't address things with the people concerned. We are in the vet industry because we truly care. I hope this review helps people to get a better perspective from the other side of the table or screen as it were...

AVOID GOING HERE! PLEASE READ I don't know how they have such a high star rating with the only thing I have heard about this place is bad news. I think they delete bad reviews or something based on how little lower star ratings are on here 1. The pet surgeon there isn't even a proper surgeon!! He is not qualitified!! 2. They killed my cat. They took too long to do surgery on my cat, despite knowing she had internal bleeding, because they apparently don't do surgeries on whatever day it was. 3. They killed my neighbours cat. They did surgery on my neighbours cat and the 'surgeon' was obviously unfamiliar with how to dose the anasthetic because she was given too much and my neighbours had to do CPR on her, and take her to another vet clinic for emergency treatment. 4. With my neighbours cat, they used staples to hold the wounds together of which a) the staples weren't on well so the staples werent even holding the wounds together but just stabbing in the open wound b) they were informed by the other vet clinic that stables SHOULDN'T BE USED 5. On the FB Browns Bay community page on a post asking for vet recommendations, among hundreds of replies, many specified to avoid Bayvet and shared their horrific experiences. 6. My other cat had to get stitches in her ear. When it came time to take them out, they were extremely rough with her unhealed wound and yanked the stitches with scissors to break off

Not sure if they were having a bad day, but both receptionist and vet came across very rude. Bedside manner lacking. Definitely did not feel welcome or cared for. Unfortunate.
