What a disappointment. We walked into an almost empty restaurant and were warned that food would take at least 40 minutes as the kitchen was backed up with orders. Given the place was empty this seems like terrible planning and the host seemed to hope we would change our minds and leave. We decided that a wait was fine as we could have a drink and chat but the service deteriorated from there. Long wait to take drink and food orders. Two of four beers on tap not available. Food delivered for each person with big gaps forcing the table to eat separately or risk food going cold. Massive let down for what should be a busy location. I'd love to see good management revise the too long menu and almost no staff to service the kitchen or front of house.

Brilliant little local bar and restaurant. Cool crisp Tiger beer on tap plus an excellent beer batter fries. Also a great Moroccan Chicken pizza.
Lovely food and nice staff. Did order for pickup but will definitely go there to eat in, next time.
Okay so 6 months ago we visited and it was just okay. We went for dinner on a Sat night just now at a reasonable 6pm and despite being the only table for food (and at one point only table full stop), were warned a 40-45min wait for food (should have taken the hint that it was not good for dinner... ). It took a good solid 10mins before getting our drinks/food order - he seemed not terribly interested in taking our orders (also noting that only 2 of the 4 beers on tap were available), then an hour for 3 of the 4 of us to get food, then a further 10-15mins before I got my plate. Absolutely terrible service - only 1 cook, 1 manager and 1 wait staff - which is no wonder things took so long. Majority of orders were uber orders (I counted off 4-5 in an hour). The manager didn't really get it till we got upset...at which point initially he said 'well I did say it was going to be 40mins'... yeah... not an hour and 15. I would far rather see this place go out of business and have somebody new take it over and service Torbay properly for a restaurant than see this limp along doing Uber eats- I did the napkin math and can't believe how they would've made any money. Those Thursday/Friday nights must be pumping through drinks orders, or it's one heck of a tax write off...
Delicious pizzas and onion rings, well priced. Will visit again :)
