Boxfish Research Co-Founders are two clever engineers who have a total passion for pushing the boundaries of technology in the underwater ROV market. What makes them even better, is that they are a company from New Zealand competing in the global market with a superior made by hand product. If the technology hasn't been created yet, they will create it. Very cool company

Our company Tahiti Private Expeditions ows an underwater Boxfish Remote Operated Vehicle. It is an incredible high-tech tool allowing us to explore further, down to 300 meters, join in scientific expeditions for new discoveries but also pre-check a dive location before diving and have non divers join their friends live on their dive and share the same experience together. The 4K video quality is second to none and it has proved being an extremely useful tool in all our expeditions around the South Pacific lately.

We partnered with Boxfish Research for our Antarctic research to support the Ross Sea region Marine Protected Area. The Boxfish ROV hits the perfect sweet spot in the Venn diagram of performance, cost, maneuverability, ease of handling, and rock-solid reliability in the most challenging environment on the planet - the Southern Ocean at 77S. Crisp, full 4K-UHD video shows the ocean and its creatures like never before and has to be seen to be believed. I consider this technology to be a game-changer for marine research, but would expect the ROV to be ideal for any number of marine applications. Check out their incredible footage at @BoxFishResearch. Also featured in the latest issue of Kia Ora magazine (July 2019).
