This has been a wonderful shop for me over the years. So sorry you have closed.

I've been totally blindsided by prices here many times. I'm a student committed to supporting local stores, but I've had enough. For starters, a roll of film is more expensive than anywhere else. They advertise 25 develop and scan online, which is ok but more expensive than anywhere else I've been. However, developed my colour film for a whopping 45 per roll! An absolute robbery. They tend to also lie about their prices when you bring stuff in, and you get a nasty shock when you pay a few days later. I've also taken to developing my own B&Ws. I've noticed my develops are a lot better than these, so called, professionals who always leave nasty chemical warping that I have to do loads of post-editing on. Takes away the magic a bit. The final straw is that I took in one B&W roll I had developed myself before I bought a scanner. Charged me 70 something bucks to SCAN and put the 12 photos onto a USB! I don't know how math works at Browns Bay Photo & Digital but it doesn't seem to be the same as the rest of the world. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Try the city spots for film, developing and scanning at REASONABLE prices!

Had visited this shop a few months ago, visited again today if I could get the same photograph as digital format into my email. The guy said he would charge 10 for 4 copies and will charge 6 for sending to my email(which was shocking as only for sending to email they cost 6). I waited 30mts as told by and went back to collect my photos. When I went back they said they charged me 16 only to convert the original photo into digital format and sending to my email... when I explained to him what he told earlier he finally agreed to print 4 more copies.. This place cannot be recommended at all. If you need photos for visa/immigration/or any official purposes please go to warehouse stationary and not to this place, unless you are happy to receive a cold experience for a high cost!!!!

I had about 50 videos and some 8mm films transferred to DVD. Fantastic to get these family movie records available for the future so family can enjoy seeing themselves growing up. Also for their children to see their parents as cute little kids. An expensive exercise but well worth it.
