Had visited them today first time and will going to be the last time for me as we'd such bad experience today never felt like ever since I've landed in New Zealand. The lady had such bad attitude and no sense at all to talk to the customer. Will not recommend anyone to go there.

Avis and Budget office are under same roof. This location mostly provides van, trucks needed for commercial or business purpose. All the vehicles are mostly new and in very good condition. Friendly staff and good service too

The absolute worst customer service i have ever encountered. When renting the truck online i was given an estimate price, this then increased upon picking up the vehicle, no clear reason why, and on return of the vehicle, they had charged me even further without my knowledge, the only way i found out was by finding a random charge on my bank statement and having received no communication of further charges I called the branch, no answer after 4-5 calls, they finally sent me my final invoice after me calling to get this and saw from this i should of only been charged 80 dollars extra for fuel, which is ridiculous in itself as the tank was only half full and a full tank only cost me 70 to fill to full. But they had charged me much more then this, when ringing the customer service line thy said they can't do anything until 48 hours has passed and that i had to keep calling them back to get this sorted, they told me the invoice might yet still change, with giving me no reason why a final invoice would be changed and refusing to put me on to a manager. I am now left out of pocket and have been told I need to wait 7-10 to even get any of the money i'm owed back. Terrible customer service, Zero communication, lots of hidden fees!. Would never use again.

The rental was easy enough - the return was a bit different. I would suggest getting the insurance and checking the rental thoroughly. We picked up the car at 8:30 p.m. and checked the car for normal dings, etc. However, when we returned it - we were charged for scratches at the very bottom of the under carriage - to the tune of of 1,700.00 US. Never experienced that before - will never rent from then again and when I tried to get customer service - no response for several days.

Complete scam artists! We involved in a minor traffic accident where we were hit from behind by a car that was in turn hit from behind. The police were called and issued a report that verified we had no fault. When I returned the car they assured me there would be no problem once verified. Less than 7 days later my credit card has a charge 3537. A bill was never sent or emailed, just a credit card charge. Very dishonest and highly unethical.

hired too trucks over the weekend 10tone and 2 tone not happy at all got a qoute befor hand went back booked the trucks witch they made as hard as possible and as confusing as possible i regularly hire truck but frist time from budget and last they are scam artists made so confusing so they can rip you of any chance they get changing me around 70 dollar a truck more then agree and wont tell me what these changes are for making the 2 tone truck 240km when you can rent a better one from eastern rental for 140 with extra insurance don't know how this company is call budget rentals should be ripe off rentals.

The lady infront is so arrogant and rude.i was to rent a van and ask few question and shes always make face everytime i ask question.she doesnt know how to do customer service she shoudnt be in that job.shes annoying..she even throw the key to me and told me she doesnt want to serve me so end up i canceled my booking.i think that lady doesnt want that job..and she doesnt deserved that job aswel.this company wasting money to pay this lady!!

Service was quick, but the Lady at the desk made us feel unwelcome and as if we are making her life hard. A smile never hurt anyone guys.
