Delicious Malaysian food in a relaxed restaurant. The owners are very friendly, the service was great, portion size was huge, price was good. Will definitely eat here again! XO squid was so tasty. Recommended.

Have tried to dine in at bunga Raya a few times but we have been out of luck. On this occasion got some take out food which was really good. The portions were large and really great and varied flavors.

Hands down the best Malaysian in Auckland!!!! Everytime I go I ask the owners to pick what I should have and they are always so helpful and friendly :) On top of that the food is 10/10 every single time!!! My must try items are the tofu and the wan tan hor. The tofu is hand made and I’ve never had anything like it - it is amazing, and I normally do not like tofu! All reasonably priced and well worth it for how good the food is. I would recommend booking as they are super popular!

Love the warm hospitality of Mama! She remembered what I ordered last time and brought it instantly cooked to my taste. Quite a busy, vocal place and its the perfect balance of lovely food, getting together and creating some Malaysian magic

So delicious food! We had the oatmeal prawns, home made tofu and 3mixed veges, and everyone enjoyed their meal! The kids who are fussy eaters loved it too. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. One of our friends joined us unannounced and can only have gluten free food. The proprietor was able to make a quick call in informing the chef to use gluten free flour to cook when she found out at the last minute. I haven't been to Bunga Raya in years but I can see the owners have very loyal returning customers and they are all on a first name basis with their regulars. This just shows you how not all Asian restaurants have bad service. Bunga Raya DEFINITELY has good service and great food!
