Sneaker Freaker

It's good but small. Friendly staff. Good couple of hours spent there. Beware the butterfly enclosure is hot and humid. Oh it also had the best kiwi viewing I have seen. Recommend

Great spot to take the kids. Not many butterfly's around. Enclosures and animals seem well looked after despite what I heard before coming to see for myself. The cafe food was amazing. excellent quality of food compared to other places we visited with the same prices.

An awesome place if you have a few spare hours before a flight. Located so close to the airport. Not just butterflies but alligators, bugs,spiders, otters, lizards and a few farm animals. There is also a brilliant rang of dinosaur moving life-size models everywhere along the trail. I mystical cave with unicorns, aliens, and mermaids. Very well done and to top it off a great cafe aswell.

What a great place!! Starts with a therapeutic butterfly experience. It feels so peaceful to just look them peacefully fly infront of your eyes. Then onto some HUGE crocodiles. I still can't believe I watched a Kiwi bird as LONG as I want. Kids just love the dino park. The farm experience with goats and rabbits is amazing too. Best part is, you can touch and pet them.

Awesome place for the kids. Really enjoyed it. There is alot more to it than my photos but I like lizards. The staff are very friendly and display superb customer service, specially the guy in the rabbit enclosure.

Fun for the young family but feels a little underwhelmed by the content. The barn is great but there aren't much petting for the kids. Great to see the goat milking in action though. Butterfly rooms are great but overly hot during summer and the number of dead butterfly in the water was a little upsetting. The animals there were great and full of energy. It's definitely worth going maybe once a year for family with young children.

Really great day out for the whole family. Don't be fooled by the name, there is much more here than butterflies... Cotton top monkeys, crocodiles and alligators, spiders, otters, fish, eels, dinosaurs, unicorns, playground, train, cafe and a bunch more. The butterfly part during my visit was a little empty compared to when I had previously been. Not sure if that's because of covid though.... Also, there needs to be a few more information signs about the animals/bugs.
