Really enjoyed this restaurant for a friends birthday! Can really recommend the enchiladas and the sangria was also amazing! Staff were incredibly nice and attentive, would go back!

Great place, great service... no exceptional service couldn’t be better. We ordered loads to taste everything, few tiny gripes. Bread was so full of rosemary it was inedible, beef cheeks still contained huge amounts of big pieces of fat so not rendered down enough, same with the pork belly. HOWEVER the flavours were all there so don’t write this place off, hopefully they take this comments on board and improve.
The food and wine menu looked so nice but unfortunately our food was lukewarm and took way too long to arrive. I thought the acoustics and décor were a bit ugly.. The Location is great and they have a good variety of seating options. Service was pretty average :/ staff unattentive: No water given to us and no meal or drink checks at all. Would eat there again in the future if it was better value and would probably not order the beef cheeks again.
Nice latino experience. Good ambience and heaps of space. Only parking an issue being K ft road. The coffee with brandy in it was also good as the food. Will revisit.
Walked past a few time and finally got a chance to eat here. Their dishes are fantastic and we will definitely go back again - highly recommend the beef cheeks and the quesadilla.
The food was really tasty, however the waiter brought us the wrong entree initially. When we told them we had ordered something else, we then received two of the same entree. The splitting of the bill was done incorrectly and we almost ended up paying too much so had to sort it out amongst ourselves. Would have been 5 stars otherwise if the service was up to scratch.
CJ has been in my list of places since it opened and this weekend we decided to finally give it a try. Recent reports were that the food was excellent and some of it was for us. All the starters were delicious fresh and we e were very hopeful that the mains would be to the same high standard. Sadly it wasn't. The pulled lamb sounded fantastic as did the beef cheek, but the lamb was tough and dry and the salsa looked tired. The beef cheek was ok though didn't have any of that great flavour you normally get and was possibly very slightly underdone. Service was excellent and it was a pleasant environment. Perhaps they were just having an off day during the long weekend.
