If you are in the city it's one hell of a place to chill. Nice comfortable seating and good sound in the theater. Food court is meh and so is the popcorn. Architecture looks beautiful but inside it's like a maze be careful.

Finally they've upgraded the cinemas. Looks good. Imax is still the same. The popcorn could be better there was lots of hard bits in all 4 of our big buckets...

we took golden class tickets and used food option, it was really good. we had amazing experience and the hamburgers were delicious.

The cinemas are good. However, I was blessed with having the worst hotdog in my life here, so bad that I got up from my seat during the movie to throw the rest of it in the garbage! Event Cinemas - if you're reading this, please do your patrons a favour and remove this from your menu, or try finding a better supplier.

Very expensive compared to other movie theaters, although it is in the centre of Auckland. Very clean, with comfortable seats. Layout a bit confusing for the first time, otherwise a very nice cinema.

Definitely one a the many places in Auckland CBD you must visit the place is designed like a maze so don't be too suprised if you get lost in there. A wide variety of food eateries and caffees will definitely have you sctaching your head for choice all while your entertaining the kids in the huge arcade which I find a bit steep on price but hey it's all for fun right. With plenty to see and do you'll definitely want to check it out and don't forget to take a ride in the rocket.
