If I could give zero stars I would. I went for counseling with Steven with my then partner for infidelity. Steven never even brought up the word infidelity in any session at all. I felt cheated by him let alone a partner. He was only ever interested in the next session which was incredibly expensive then. This was in 2016 I thought it was time to give my honest experience as his name came up with a friend. It was of no use to us in fact each time we walked out we argued more as the main issue was never addressed in a safe environment as promised, this was even mentioned to Steve. We learnt nothing it was absolutely no help in fact it cost us a lot more than in , there was no value in the sessions some role play which had no purpose or relating to the reason we went to see him in the first place. There was no discussions about the trauma it caused or how to fix things. Nothing was brought up relating to the broken trust. I had more input from friends than this expensive counselling. Time people knew.

Steven was a great surprise - like most guys I looked forward to seeing a counsellor with my wife like a visit to an auditor. Steven was relaxed, kinda funny and he explained what he was doing. It was surprisingly easy and I felt like i was able to get my wife to understand what i was saying. I liked how he taught us the skills so we could communicate better at home. If I had known it was this helpful i would have done this years ago.
