There’s one manager here who really isn’t happy. He tried to make some joke with me about how another customer was a hassle, when they were clearly trying their best and then I over heard him complaining about the cost the NZ government handling COVID was putting on his business. Your country isn’t doing much better mate, but please empower yourself and move because you clearly don’t like being here and your not making it much more fun for the rest of us who are facing the same difficulties without the attitude problem.

Ceres at Ellerslie has the best selection of Weleda products in Auckland. The homeopath here has an amazing knowledge and they guided my purchase very soundly. I have always liked this fine store for its focus on the very best organic vegetables and products. A trustworthy store which I recommend with a knowledge one can rely on Ceres. Note: quality is never cheap. Expect to pay for this store's focus on top quality.
The three different times I have been served by this male shop attendant (again today at 3pm'ish) I have never ever received a 'hello' or 'thank you' simple customer service exchange of pleasantries. Yes I am PI, and yes I enjoy organic food, but just a simple thank you would suffice especially if I am being kind and supporting our covid affected neighbours. Get some manners please because as soon as you had finished serving me...you spritely asked the guy behind me how his day was ...perhaps I needed to be a guy?? dunno. The others I have dealt with in store are absolutely fab..I miss them..where are they!
I have had very unpleasant experience at Ceres Ellerslie today. I wanted to purchase the herbal spread. The price on the shelf was 3.99. When shop assistant scanned the price on computer it was the same3.99. He refused to sell me the product for that price. He told me that someone made mistake when putting it into the system. The atmosphere was very odd. I don't think I will come back to your shop Ceres Ellerslie.

Sunday staff are very attentive, built a rapport, and inspired me in the kitchen.
Staff following me around like I am going to steal something but when I am with my caucasian partner, they don't follow me around at all. Its happened twice now. Also the young guy on the counter, seems very unhappy and makes me feel it also. No smiles ever. Rude service
The prices here are on the high side and the general ambience of the store is very unusual and lifeless - however the quality of the food is really the highlight here so if you know precisely what you're looking for then its not a bad store to pop into.
