I purchased a used Formway Life chair online a couple of weeks ago and it required reupholstering as well as a repair to the seat depth adjustor. I had fully expected the item to be taken away, and repaired over the course of a few days, however both jobs were completed in *less than three minutes*, on site, by a very well-prepared repairman. Quotes from other repair shops were either higher than Chair Doctors, or didn't communicate the same level of knowledge with respect to the model of chair I needed fixing. Very much recommended.
I paid over 100 for them to re-gas one of my chairs in 2014. Within 8 months it was falling down, and they chose to not honour their warranty and look at it. That's fine! I googled around and you can buy, for about 20, clips which fit onto the chair gas lift, and keep it at your desired height. They're still working 6 years later. They will outlast the chair. I highly recommend this instead of getting your chairs regassed. Unfortunately, Chair Doctor keeps emailing me, again and again, offering me services. I've now emailed them for the third time(first was 2016, second 2017, and now third time today), asking them to please stop spamming me. It took a threat to report them for spamming to the DIA to get them to finally remove me from their list. I highly recommend you avoid this service. Anything goes wrong - good luck! And the email back was pretty nasty too, especially when I reminded them they didn't even want to honour their warranty so why would I ever use them again?
