Website not always up to date and emails lack clear instructions. No one ever answers the phone. If you show up with the wrong documents or don't arrive "early enough" (because obviously lunch break starts from 11) they just tell you to come another day as if people have all the free time in the world and don't have to take leave to come here. Not all staff are friendly, some can be rather rude. The number of car parks is just impossible. During busy hours the guy from the company owning all the nearby tow-away parks patrols the area like a vulture, showing up the second you park in one of their spaces even just to sit there and wait for one of the consulate spaces to become available. Once inside there's another long wait.

Really slow, I went there at 8am started to queue but I didnt get in. They should hire more contractors to let us not queuing. If you want to get your things done for the day have to arrive before 7am!

Went there at 9 am, there were about 10 people waiting already. And 3 car parks available although I parked at residential area and walked. You have to get a ticket and wait to be called. If you had booked online then you'll be served on the day. If you have have photos with you, there's a pharmacy across the road where you can get it down. Though it's 20, and additional 10 for a digital copy (not recommended). The staff said it'd take 2 weeks to get the passport renewed. I submitted it on 10th, and got an email saying that my passport was ready for collection on 14th. It was way faster that I thought.

Must give a thumb up for the recent experience. Just went to renew my passport, the queue is long as usual, parking spaces is not many. However i don't think the visa centers of other countries provide any car park (e.g. Japan, US and AU). After about 1/2 - 1 hour wait and normal submitting process. I got a little pink pick up note stated to pick up in 2 weeks. However from that night I started receiving emails from the centre to update my passport progress status. in 1 week time one email said Passport was ready to be picked up. I was a bit doubt whether it was true and went there to pick it up next day. It was there ready for me. 1 week faster than stated and keep me all the way informed. The renew cost is way much less than my dd's NZ passport. Happy to see the improvement.
