Dr Rosevear is extremely knowledgeable. She always put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. I can not recommend her care enough. She was always able to answer my questions and I trusted her calm and relaxed demeanor right away. The administrative staff were professional and friendly especially Lorraine. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Rosevear and the clinic in general. I feel lucky that she took such wonderful care of me with both pregnancies and was the person to bring my children into this world.

My wife booked an appointment for consultation and Dr Sylvia was not just a wonderful doctor but a great listener. She took time to listen to us and gave a good advice. She was so comforting and her more 30 years of experience makes it a wonderful experience. I'll definitely recommend for ladies looking for a good private gynecologist. She is fairly busy throughout the year so appointments are recommended.
Very well managed pregnancy, emergency c section due to premature labour, incredible recovery, felt well supported, couldn’t have asked for better care. Felt very safe. Would use Sylvia again for sure.
Dr Sylvia Rosevear operated on me 4 years ago and only now am I well enough to leave a review. I was in full health with a minor degree of urinary incontinence which was starting to effect my regular exercise of running. She recommended a tape which would cure my problem with a very quick recovery time. She did not mention that it was a mesh tape. On day 2 post-op I experienced debilitating pain and dysfunction. For the next 10 months she not only did not listen or care she prevented any return to health by prescribing me antidepressants and making me wait for obscure investigations looking for idiopathic disorders- one particular 7 day investigation booked without my consent. When I finally got the mesh removed the surgeon was scathing about this woman who works as a lone ranger and is universally rude to her patients. The surgeon said he got grey hairs over the removal of my “ tape ‘because for 10 minutes he could not locate it . It was found to be misplaced so badly that it was strangling my bladder. The permanent damage she caused resulted in an ACC diagnosis that I have permanent bilateral pudendal nerve damage due to aberrant passage of a surgical introducer. The cost has been huge and devastating to myself and my beautiful family and no point has she contacted me to even find out how I am . I had to go the US to remove the remaining 4cm of mesh that was stuck deep in my groin causing me unbearable pain and horrific dysfunction. This was all at our cost as ACC does not cover overseas treatment. The conversation topic which she brought up twice in was her trips to Italy to the Milan fashion show. My only consolation is that Covid has stopped those excursions for the moment and I’m hoping this review stops any other woman and her family from entrusting their precious body to to the aberrant surgical knife of this negligent, incompetent woman.
Sylvia is an amazing obgyn. If you are looking for hearts and flowers she's not your girl, but if want outstanding professional obgyn care you simply could not find anyone better.
Amazing professional! Dr Sylvia was calm and certain during my pregnancy filling us with confidence. And during the labour Dr Sylvia and her nurse Vanessa did everything to make sure that both me and our baby are fine. They acted very professionally. I had 100% trust in them. If we'd decide to go for a second run, we wouldn't think twice who to choose as our LMC.
