E-Trans has a good range of currencies at very good rates (much better than banks) and their charges are very reasonable. They are also very helpful and are excellent for sending money to accounts in China. Recommended.
E-trans is the best foreign exchange in Auckland. I have been to them several times and have never been disappointed! :)
Terrible costumer service.. the ladies who work there don't even reply to your questions and they totally ignores you. I usually exchange my money there because of the good rates but this kinda of things makes me not want to comeback.
Worst experience ever, if you run a business in NZ you need to respect the customer and understand customer service, if this is not the case in China then you better learn quick and fast or get a ticket and fly back to China. I visited the office on Thursday and the guy behind the counter was very rude and literally mentioned that I am suspicious and he wouldn't accept the cash .This was unbelievable and truly insulting. I recommend you guys to check out the exchange outlet next door (Number 90 Queen Street) which actually offers better rate.
Very patient service. I have brought over 20,000 US dollars to exchange. The staff asked me to show my passport, proof of home address, fill the form and also to show the proof where the cash from. Firstly, I was very unhappy to provide so many documents to just exchange my money. I told them with very rude attitude that I have declared these US dollars at NZ customer when I arrived NZ. However, the staff behind the counter was very patient. He explained to me that these documents are required by regulation and he showed me these requirements from NZ government website. Since I don’t have any proof of my US dollar cash, he even helped me to contacted my bank in Poland to get the exchange proof. Very glad to deal with this company, highly recommended.
They give me marked money, which I cannot use overseas. I always go there for money exchange, but now I will never use it again!!!!!!!! When I come back I will spend time and find out where to report this issue. Be careful guys!!!!!! P.S. The story got a pleasant twist, after I posted this review, someone from the company contacted me and offered to replace marked money. They explained that in New Zealand and worldwide it is fine to exchange these banknotes, however, I did have problems. I am grateful for a great service, guys.
