This is your classic old style kiwi fish and chip shop. Cash only. Decent portion of chips and a thick fillet of fish. How it should be. Not expensive either. Give the uber eats a rest and support your local chippy.

George makes the best traditional fish and chips out. It was good to see you again George. This is what a real piece of fish looks like. Some takeaways will make 4 pieces of fish out of this.
The chips, mussels and scallops were amazing. The owner is very nice. Will definitely go again.

This used to be everyone’s go to takeaway back in the day. I haven’t been there for over 20 years (now live overseas or I’d be a regular) but remember it with such fond memories. George was the best and the food was amazing. After school potato fritters, bring em on! I tell stories of this place often when trying to explain Kiwi n shops to people in Holland.
