We needed a place to purchase suits for my brother, his best man and the ring bearer. With limited time, the wedding being in October and us visiting in mid September, Tammy really exceeded our expectations and the suits were ready on time, all made to fit. Even when there were some minor details that needed altering, Tammy was able to fix it the same week of the wedding. I and my sister also bought dresses for the occasion that needed altering and Tammy went above and beyond on them both! So welcoming Tammy is and such a lovely atmosphere in her shop! Really appreciate her and her hard work! You will not be disappointed!!
Can't rate the Ellen Tailors & Suit Hire Company highly enough. I ordered four suits for my wedding party, two bought and two hired. The suits fit everyone perfectly and looked great on the day. The delivery and collection process also went flawlessly. Thanks Tammy!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience. They were so helpful. I was really impressed with the end result. Their workmanship is the highest quality. They were honest and fairly priced. They saved me money by being honest, the gentleman suggested that I do not waste my time tailoring a couple of pieces as they would not fit very well at the end of it. Thanks for the honesty, I really appreciate it.
2 weeks out from my wedding I decided to change my suit. My wife emailed Jason on a public holiday asking if we were able to come in and he opened up shop just for us!! Great range of suits to choose from and we were very happy with the one we went with. Jason was very welcoming and accommodated to our every need and did it all with a smile especially considering it was very last minute!! This is our 2nd family wedding where we have used Ellen Tailors and on both occasions we have been very happy with the final product! Very grateful for the awesome service Jason, will definitely recommend you to others.
Been using the for a couple of years to do fixes and alterations and felt I should express my opinions publicly. These guys are great ! Seriously nothing is ever a problem from the little things like shortening a pair of trousers to massive modifications to jackets. done on time and for a reasonably cost. Don't know about their suit hire side But as tailors they are truly great.
I had a fantastic experience near Christmas 2015 for hiring a suit, as best man, with Ellen Tailors. Not only was the overall hiring experience (including communication from overseas) smooth and professional, the owners of this shop also happen to be master tailors, and included as a part of their service custom fitting, suit alterations, and style recommendations based on their vast experience with similar occasions. Their services is a big part of what contributed to a confident/wonderful experience on the day. Highly recommended.
