Was good fun in a large group. The track is genuinely fun and makes you feel like you're going pretty fast. The karts are kept to an okay standard. They look a bit scuffed; and the venue in general is a bit dated. Helmets were a bit sweaty feeling (?) May have been cleaner, not sure. Can't argue with the price with a group the size we had, it's just good fun. Minor things as mentioned.

Great afternoon with lads. Challenging little circuit. Some karts in need of repair. All in all a great way to bond with the team

Hadn't been here in over 10 years, booked to take my nephew out on his 15th birthday. Awesome, had the track to ourselves, karts were quick and engines popped as you're foot came off the gas. Will be back.

Such a fun place. Fastest karts in New Zealand I believe. Check it out before it becomes to popular. Gives the forearms a good work out too. Disclaimer, my pictures are blurry because the karts were so fast

Awesome Night out with the boys. The karts were the best they have ever been. All very even and seemed faster and definitely handled a lot better. Staff were very good.

Let me first say this isn’t a bad place, and I would encourage people to give it a try, but... there are some issues. The welcome and sign in process could use someone on the front desk. They seemed pretty short staffed when we visited. There were 3 guys when we arrived and down to 2 before we started racing. This meant that people weren’t being spotted when there was an issue, and that’s not the safest thing with a cart stuck in a barrier, or broken down. There was 14 in our group, so it’s not like there wasn’t revenue in it for them to be staffed properly. The two guys there I believe we’re doing their best. It was 27th Dec though, so not exactly busy season, or when people want to be working. The carts are in serious need of replacement. The first cart I had wouldn’t turn right (and on a clockwise circuit, that’s a problem). The tyre would hit the frame and it would lock up and go in to the barriers, not good! I was first told this was just the way that cart was, before being told to head to the pits to swap carts. The second cart would turn, but wouldn’t really go. It cut out repeatedly (stalled), and when at low speed struggled to get going. There were several carts like this. One of which was consistently 3 seconds a lap slower than the others, with 2 of our better drivers sharing it, so it was definitely the cart. Lastly, the seats are seriously uncomfortable. Most of the group had some level of bruising on their backs or sides, and 3 days later, I’ve still got a bruised left rib (not from crashing). A little foam on the seats would go a long way to help this, as would better seats! In summary, if you just want to have fun, then head along. If you’re competitive with you peers then I’d suggest going somewhere else.
