Mixed emotions about this place, I'm sure many love it. Personally I found it weird as I went to the back to exit a man named Evan insisted that I try using his personal back door, rather than the one provided? Left me very confused. So I hope other enjoy themselves! Just stay clear of the guy with greasy blonde hair and a wrinkled shirt.

I used to love coming here with in the last 10 years. Family bar is one of the best clubs to be at in the city, with friends or if your new coming from overseas go to family bar the atmosphere is just full of laughs, dancing, drinks & lets not forget the drag singing shows are awesome. Everyones pretty much friendly, you meet all sorts of different ages & cultures. The only downfall I think is straight guys killing the mood, but if this happens just tell one of those security guys they will help you out, even the security guys there, are cool but if you get on there bad side yikes'.And remember it is a Gay Bar duh...I luv this club I recommend it. Idk now after the covid19 tho it may have changed..Its starting to be abit boring going to the city.

Needs an update. Music also very out of date. Better Djs needed. Have a trans dance night once a month or once a quarter. Lacking that type of vibe

LOVE this place. It has 4 different areas to party. A karaoke area (although the girl that's normally there taking peoples requests is not cool and doesn't let people sing and sings herself instead.) There is a dance floor with poles and a DJ and sometimes shows which are awesome and theres the outside area where you can smoke and drink and dance and the downstairs area which has different music and is a lot of fun. There are 4 different bars too, one for each area. It is honestly so much fun and it really is a family there.

Good bar but the guys there will grab a handful of whatever they want without permission. Disgusting.
