Consistency can be a big issue with Fish Stop. I always order the same thing. Some days it's one of the best around, while other days it's quite poor. Unfortunately today it's ther later. Everything is very oily and doesn't taste fresh at all. Chips are soggy.

Good customer service from the team of the shop. Fish burgers were awesome super fresh and tasty wedges are super good. And there food overall is a straight 10. Clean and tidy highly recommend this place.

Got a hot dog and chips for my son, hot dog is over priced for an average hot dog, chips looked burnt and had no salt at all on them. I'd never go back.

Over priced and very average quality. This place is supposed to be the best fish & chip shop in Glen Eden but it does not live up to the reputation. The chips were like cardboard (kind of like chips are when you eat leftover chips the next day) and they were under seasoned (even though we asked for chicken salt). The fish was nice and crispy but it was very, very greasy. As far as value goes I cannot recommend this place either. The fish was way over-priced at 5 for plain old hoki. And we got about half as many chips for the same price as other local places. That would be fine if the chips were great quality but as per the comment at the beginning of the review the chips weren't any good. We have tried this place previously and had a similar experience. We thought we'd give them another chance but will definitely not be giving them a third chance.

Absolutely loved the meals, the crumbed fish and crumbled banana was my kid’s favorite. The oysters were just delicious and fresh, makes feel like swimming in the summer ocean. I would highly recommended to all, specially with such valuable price.
