What a great record store as I rediscover my vinyl collection and begin to replace it and renew it. The packaging is great, delivery is quick and communication is excellent if there is a delay to your order. I also love the little card they include that tells you what they were listening to when the order was packed. Nice fun touch!

I ordered an album from the team at Flying Out at the end of September. Unfortunately, the album did not come in their next shipment and they offered me store credit or a refund as they were going to be unable to fulfill my order. I understood and politely asked for a refund. After this request, I never received any further correspondence from the team at Flying Out. Despite sending numerous emails, one saying I'd be happy for store credit, then asking for my money back, I'm still to hear anything back. This has been a really disappointing experience. Update on this. The team reached out to me not long after this review was posted. There had been an issue with the team not receiving my emails, hence their not getting back to me. I managed to get in touch with the team via phone and they were able to assist with my query really quickly. I appreciate the help received in the end.
It's a small boutiquey. The prices in my experience are a couple of dollars more than those of two other close by record shops. It has a decent selection of new and second hand records, as well as books, a turntables, CDs, head phones etc. The staff have always been friendly when I've been in.
Love this little place. The dude that works there is so knowledgeable and this time suggested the perfect vinyl for my brother in laws present. Keep up the good work
I dont know what to make of this place, i bought a record on trade me, they sent me the wrong item, they didnt even have the one i paid for, they said they would refund me after it was received back...i am still waiting for the return slip. I made the mistake of buying another item from their own website.....guess what, they didnt have it in stock but will send it when they do. Thats not good enough, whoever runs the email department needs replacing, virtually useless, spent 120 and so far have nothing to show for it.
Amazing customer service from Hunter at Flying Out. I ordered online and unfortunately it had sold out and it sounded like they couldn't get any more of what I wanted in. Hunter emailed to apologise and let me know within a couple of days and to see what I wanted to do. I requested a refund which was processed immediately. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I receive another email from Hunter informing me that they managed to get 1 copy of what I was after. Paid for on Friday and received 3 days later on Monday. So stoked that it's here before xmas. You've made my day! Thank you!!
