Certainly the most creative ice cream joint I've ever been to. But also one of the tastiest. Everything they do is top notch & they obviously put a great deal of care & work into their ice cream & the accompaniments.

If I am being honest, I do not know where to begin. The Giapo store has to be one of my favourite, most visited places on Earth. The most thought out, authentic and sensational and at times unusual combinations of flavours you will ever find in an ice cream store, I promise that Giapo lives up to the slogan normal ice cream is boring - and beyond. I commend Giapo and family, and the wonderful staff for making my every visit fantastic. Beware of trying - or you will end up heavily addicted to Giapo and make too many visits to Gore Street. I wish I could give a 20/5 stars.

This has been on our to try list for ages and finally we got to have it. It definitely exceeds all expectations. We absolutely loved it. Great customer service and the ice cream was very delicious. We didn't really like the cone but everything else was superb Will definitely go there when we are in Auckland next. A definite must try

Both buying in-store and ordering through the app were smooth and in general pleasant experience. The staff is super helpful and friendly, you really feel welcome there! I am usually after less sweet ice-creams, and Christchurch Hazelnut is my favourite

Store concept does not match the product and is very unnecessary. Very few ice cream flavours to choose from. The ice cream has some kind of starch or silicon ingredient which makes the ice cream extremely viscous, sticky, and unnatural which is highly unpleasant. The old Queen St store was decent, but we will never buy from Giapo again.

Be aware!!! You'll face a big dilemma on which flavor to choose from. Every flavor I tasted satisfied every taste buds. Definitely a place I'd frequent now. Love the courteous staff too.
