Great little family orientated school catering for new entrants through to intermediate level. The school is an active member of the Manaiakalani Community of Learning and uses digital devices as a tool for learning. While based in an older building, the teaching is current and all classrooms have been recently refurbished, and is one of the few school that still has a school pool. Numerous opportunities are made available for students to actively engage with their learning topics. ranging from teddy bear picnics to sports camps.
Glen Innes is definitely a great school with enthusiastic children and warm and friendly staff members. We embrace each others culture here and work in partnership with parents teachers and children.
It is a place where everyone feels welcome and students are being nurtured to reach their full potential.
Glen Innes School is a multi-cultural school. It is one of the Manaiakalani Schools (currently there are 12 schools, which makes Manaiakalani Cluster). It enhances learners to learn, create and share using various devices such as Ipads, Chrome Books by pushing the boundaries to learn in this modern world. Learners are well looked after by the caring and friendly staff. The school is a minute away from Glen Innes Town Centre and is more of a community based school.
A great little school. Very caring and welcoming.
