I’ve been meaning to visit this shop for years and finally went inside spontaneously on a walk to buy a coffee. Owner was super lovely and I was worried that due to covid this place may have to close down. Browsed through what was a great selection of manga, art books, drawing tools, figurines and prints. Definitely coming back very soon to buy some gifts for my partner and myself! Owner was also helpful with my questions and very polite. The shop was clean and well organised! P.S The iced coffee here is great and so reasonably priced! So happy it’s close to my apartment ;-;

Located a walk away from the main street, Welcome to Graphic Novel Cafe. It's located below an apartment complex, the photo below shows the entrance. On your right you will be greeted by the owner. They sell Manga (English), Dvds (Eng Sub or Dub) Magazines (Some Japanese else English) Gundam & DIY Figures Equipment and tools for DIY Manga stationary and paper PVC Figures (PVC, Figmas, Nendoriods) A bit of anime official merchandise and nice coffee. There are tables inside where you can sit and relax; the framed wallpapers are just amazing. The mood and enviroment of the store is perfect for the inner introvert. If something's not in stock I've heard that the owner can order special items if you ask. The prices are okay, it's hard to find this much anime goods in NZ so it's best to prepare your wallet. *yes!!* Pendragon Saber (Get!!) Would recommend, drop by if you have the time.

I always make time to go to this amazing place, I am always able to get what I’m looking for and order my manga(light novel). The owner is very nice and always makes you feel welcomed. P.S great coffee

Lovely place and nice vibe! Even though I am a very nervous person I was able to focus on choosing Manga! Such a nice range and although series are missing certain volumes its completely understandable given the situation with ordering and shipping in this world at the moment! I definitely recommend going here :)

Just bought 2 volumes of DB Super. Definitely will be going there on a weekly basis. Owner is very nice and knowledgeable.

A great place for manga anime fans. Such a rare existence in NZ. A kind genuine man who was very helpful added to my visit. I only wish there were more volume 1s to my daughter and I favorite series available at the time.

I really like this place it has a good price range and it has a bunch of manga unlike most the manga shops i ever gone to. I recommend going there!!!
