Mark is a master at electronics wizardry bar none. I have had all type of guitar and PA equipment fixed by him when no one else could even diagnose the fault. He has a passion for rare and vintage equipment and his knowledge is deep and seemingly limitless. I cannot recommend highly enough for a quality repair job that has a short turnaround time. Outstanding service and an affable character. Always a pleasure to deal with...

Finally my classic Holden 100 without all the noise in the background. I really like my old Holden amp but it has always been so noisy. At times practically unusable. I mean it was made in the 70's I suppose and I didn't think it could be improved but this guy modded it and adjusted the valves. Now on idle even at high volume it is really quiet and the tone is so wide, better than a Marshal way better. He also recommended some valve replacements which I will do when finances permit but it's hard to imagine how it could sound better than it is now. Great. Thank you

I bought Fender Princeton reverb reissue second, price was low. But I found reverb, foot stitch are not working properly. I done cleaning inside out and trying get sort out but could not. It was my first tube amp. I visit Guitar Amp Repair Co, and I though just get quite done. But after quick chat with Mark, he insist himself get job done (Obviously, several amps lined up in his work shop and he might really buy) quick and done great job with reasonable price. My Princeton reverb is working like better than new. Particularly reverb. Thank you. :)

Vox AC 30 went in as a 30W came out as a 55W. Mark was brilliant and explained to me that Vox get their tone by pushing the valves to max voltage and suggested fitting some military spec valves rated a 100 volts above the EL84's but still the same design. Anyone who owns a Vox AC30 knows that the beautiful bell like tone of new valves slowly and depressingly dulls after about 6 months until you are faced with another 200 bill after a year or so for new valves. Mark explained that with the higher voltage valves the amp could perform as designed or even better as is the case without killing the valves. He even fitted a row of pots across the output circuit for tweaking the valves, which I thought impossible on a Vox. Plus he fitted a standby switch, not standard on my Vox, so you can go off for a beer in the break without leaving your valves to fry and the amp is ready to go straight away when flip the switch back on. Love it. So great to meet a fellow with this sort of knowledge. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get something extra out of their gear. Awesome mate. Dropping my Marshall off soon.
