Great place to shop for second hand books, fair prices and a good range of Non Fiction and Fiction titles. Great range of New Zealand historical books. Special thanks to Bren and Shalon for helping out with online purchases from the Dunedin branch and excellent professional service at all times.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I visited this book store yesterday but was pleasantly surprised to find that it had PLENTY of books that I wanted to buy (loved that there were a lot of non-fiction books which I prefer over fiction). Ended up spending close to 2 hours browsing the shelves and discovered some titles that I'd been looking at purchasing online. Many books in near-new condition and prices were very reasonable compared to some other second-hand book stores. Staff were lovely and talkative too. Was good to learn that you can see the catalogue for the Dunedin store which is apparently bigger online, make a purchase and the books will be delivered to the Auckland store. Will definitely be going back!

This was on my must-visit list for nearly 2 years, and absolutely worth the wait. The hour and a half I spent there was nowhere enough to explore the eclectic collections. Definitely going back.

I was amazed when I found this place! The rush of excitement when I stepped in was real! They have a wide range of books available; I ended up buying 14 books. Probably the biggest book haul for me ever. And the layout and atmosphere of the place is just beautiful. It's a bookworm's paradise.

When I had heard they had moved into the area I trembled. It being in Onehunga was the only thing that saved me from spending large amounts of money there. Huge range of titles, helpful friendly staff, and just the right ambience for a bibliophile - a splendid old house and plenty of comfortable seats. If they did coffee and had a writing desk I would never leave and I would be broke into the bargain.

extensive selection, many collections. brilliant store interior. one downside - there is no cataloguing here, so if you’re after a certain book, it’s hit or miss.

Great local business, always willing to take my old books and exchange them for some new reads
