We have booked a house on Great Barrier Island through H4Hire and were left upset and treated unfair by this operator. Learn from the mistake we should have booked the same property with AirBnB which have a policy when things go wrong. The flight first delayed then cancelled due to bad weather left us no choice but to cancel the weekend were were so looking forward to. While the property owner was informed immediately and the airline refunded the tickets 100% H4H did simply state 100% cancellation costs, not even offering a refund nor apology, nil and only an answering service line, the owners not be heard from nor could they be reached. Later on they did not even respond to any correspondence. We would never every recommend booking through this agent again. Stay away.
