About a year ago I shaved my long hair off for charity and ever since (through lockdowns etc) I have been home bleaching my short hair, which was not ideal as I couldn't do a great job of the crown and back. I was in need of some serious attention; full head bleach retouch, patch touch ups to fix demarcation and a toner but I was worried about paying top dollar for a half hearted job in salon (as I have had before). I saw Nikki at Hue Albany and she was super lovely, and did a fantastic job, ensuring that she did not leave one hair untouched and I left the salon feeling much more confident; worth every cent. I will definitely return to see Nikki again.

Nikki the manager was great at understanding what I needed and delivered exactly what she said she would do. Amazing result. Great products and good advise shared for after colour hair management . Would recommend as they are colour specialist they do a good job
I chose Hue as love the concept of doing one thing well. And they are great at colour! And lovely staff too. BUT...the online booking system is a nightmare so tread carefully unless you have time to burn. Yesterday there was only one poor staff member on with no assistance meaning I had to wait 45mins past appointment time to be seen - not the kind of wait you'd be prepared for in the middle of a work day. I had received and replied to my confirmation txt but staff didn't even know they had a 12.15pm appointment. This is my THIRD experience with a Hue booking system stuff up this year (the last two were last minute cancellations on Hue's part because they had double booked) and, sadly, I'm done. Gutted as I can't fault their skill as colourists. Just really poorly managed systems and the lack of resolution points to management just not valuing their customers time or caring about feedback. I feel sorry for the staff too. Who has one staff member on on a day when there are back to back bookings for the entire day? Don't venture here unless you are time rich and very patient. : (

I was treated to a hair dye at Hue Albany last week and what a great experience. Matthew and Nikki were super friendly and professional, and what a great head massage I was given by Matthew, too! The salon was spacious, modern and spotless. The hair products were divine. Well done, guys!

I had my hair done by Keelen from the Albany branch and she was absolutely amazing! I had tea served when I arrived, Keelen worked hard to get the result that I was after and my hair turned out perfect! I asked for a bright colour in my hair and usually hairdressers say I can never get unless I have 3 sessions of bleach. Keelen managed to get the result in less time and sessions. Highly recommend!!!
