The serving sizes at this place is great! As well as the service we received. The King Salmon was good and would come back in a heartbeat. The Tuna bowl was alright, it left me wanting a bit more and lacked perhaps some more sauces or lime juices they could carry on the flavour it is meant to bring. Overall this should could be the better poke bowls in Auckland, flavour is key :) hopefully improves!
This place is fantastic! Portion sizes are great and the service 110% reccomend! Through no fault of theirs I ordered something spicy and they were lovely and even exchanged it for something else!
Went along 6.30pm on evening, had a nice fresh catchaflame with tuna & greens. Brought back a group Tuesday 5.30pm. Small note says "unexpectedly closed. Sorry for inconvenience." Back again Thursday 7pm after trouble parking. No tuna. No greens. "I can't do anything about that" says server. So 3 visits, 2 good meals & 1 satisfactory service experience. Please train your staff up to cope creatively if supplies are going to be short...
That was far more yummy tasting than I had expected, to be honest. The small Moa Magic bowl with no rice was a great, sweet and savoury choice for me as I was looking for lower carb options for dinner. Surprisingly filling too after letting it settle for a few minutes. I would have gotten the Miso Salmon one instead by what's written on the menu, but I knew I was having salmon tomorrow so opted for this chicken one instead and wasn't disappointed. Only took a quick minute to prepare.
Despite cracking my tooth on the brown rice that wasn’t cooked properly I still go there. Well used to there is no point! It’s always closed!! If you can’t afford to stay open until 7pm as it says then just close and stop wasting my time. Closed at 6:45 on Friday night. Great recipe for success. Just close already put yourself out your misery.
