I have used this business for pre-purchase building inspections on two occasions and the team have been friendly and efficient both times. Very prompt communication and completion of the inspections, followed through with thorough reports. I also really appreciate how straight-forward the reports are to interpret. Great service - highly recommend.
Luke was such a pleasure to deal with. We had to obtain a pre-purchase inspection and there were some pressures to get the inspection done ASAP. Luke and the team at Inspect House Building went above and beyond to help. They were flexible and very timely. They were able to complete the inspection (report too) in well under 12 hours. Luke was clear in communication and very professional. Both my partner and I cannot thank them enough for their service. Would recommend this company to anyone who requires a building inspection.
I needed to get a builders report before making an offer on a house so I got in contact with these guys and I was overwhelmed with how helpful and professional they were. Also after explaining that time was a factor for me they managed to do the full inspection and report on the same day, I couldn't have hoped for any better service than that. Even after receiving the report they continued to help me with explaining parts of the report I didn't understand. Will definitely use Inspect House NZ again.
Highly recommend this service. Luke was able to provide a pre auction building inspection at very short notice. He communicated directly with the real estate agent to arrange a time within our requested timeframe and returned a clear written report to us within the same day. I used this service when my regular builder was out of town. I was absolutely appalled with the inspector, I wouldn't be surprised if he had never inspected a house before. I arranged a verbal inspection of a 3 bedroom house and that I was going to be present during the inspection to ask questions. The inspector arrived 10 minutes early and tried to wrap up in 10 minutes obviously unaware that I was going to be present. After quizzing him, he hadn't done any investigations into sources of high moisture readings, hadn't been under the house as he couldn't tell me about the age of the pilings, nor had he attempted to look in the ceiling space. He was trying to get away with doing a really rough job and got caught in the act My agents also independently commented that they recommend I find a different inspector. This service was more expensive than others I have used and quality of the inspection was very poor. I would not recommend using this company as there are many other inspectors who will do a much better job at a lower price.
