:(( Regretfully, I was really unhappy with the dealings of this lawyer and I had to withdraw myself from engaging with this person. Because I find a few inconsistencies and inaccuracies with the information that he provided to me compared to what is mentioned at the immigration NZ website. He was not even ready to explain or accept initially when I shown him the inaccuracies that he mentioned to me compared to immigration NZ website information. A professional should accept his own mistake when it is spotted on. Instead Mr Lal tried to hide from it with more wired and unreasonable explanations. It’s shame. Also I find he needs to learn professional integrity. For instance, Mr Lal mentioned to me during our initial consult that he would let me know when the online application opens which he never did until I contacted him back. Another thing I felt during consultations with him was he trying to impose his thoughts on me rather than showing at least a readiness to listen to my ideas and concern. He is too fast to decide that we are wrong and he is correct. I also think that he needs to understand that people go to a lawyer when their issue is complex, not when straightforward. People can deal with straightforward issues directly, they don’t need a lawyer. I also felt that he needs more knowledge about the law when it comes to complex cases. In short I felt Mr Lal was not helpful for me both in terms of his skills to understanding me completely (due to lack of readiness in listening to me what I have to say) and showing professional integrity and knowledge in complex cases. Sadly, I have to say, I don’t recommend him at all unless he changed a lot. It was just a waste of money for me.
