Probably my favourite restaurant in Auckland. Incredibly authentic food served by amazing staff that take dedication to their craft to a whole new level. Small and no bookings for good reason. Get here early for a thoroughly genuine Japanese experience. The Asahi on tap isn't bad either :)

Awesome little spot with a great selection of delicious skewers. We got the vege combo and some meat skewers and they were all really delicious and fresh. Perfect for gluten and or dairy free friends lovely staff

Wife and I come here all the time. Great food and staff was attentive to our needs. As food was in small platters it was nice to get a constant stream of it rather than all at once so it didn't get cold. Being nice and cozy, it presents a warm welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

I like their beef Tongue that I always go back for. There are counter seats where you can enjoy your meal n watching grilling yakitori. But the price is a little too high for what they are but they still taste good n their service is consistently good n smiley.

Warm atmosphere, attentive service with great food and drinks. Gor a table in front of the grill so we could watch the food being prepared. Well worth a return trip, probably a regular return.

It has lunch special, set menu, 15 - 16. Pretty good for group event. Food tastes great. A great place to go for group lunch.
