Once again another beautiful scene of walking tracks and trees, amazing trees live longer than us, by 300 years, , .

Been coming here for the last 13 years, just love having a tramp through here in winter & spring, paths had been deteriorating, but OLB have made a significant investment this year with new signage & path/steps upgrades, can walk it in your slippers now, miss the mud & more humans here now. August 2019.

Well worth a walk here, excellent tracks
Abit of the track, good for dog walk
Lush native bush 10 mins from downtown Auckland. If it's been raining the track will be muddy in places so bring old shoes. Look out for the 300 year old tree. If you go at night, take a torch to see and turn it off sometimes to check for glow worms. Some views of the water and city.
