Kids Photography Workshops teach introductory techniques to encourage imaginative story-telling style photography using a compact digital camera. Our photography class focuses on fun and exploration! Photography is a great hobby for children and we aim for our junior photographers to develop a love of photography and a desire to explore and photograph the world around them. We believe that if children understand the message behind an image they will be safer online and create a portfolio of creative art rather than "selfies". Our weekly workshops follow a structured programme incorporating elements of composition and camera functionality. Our classes aim to develop both technical and creative skills for our students. Our weekly modules cover a huge range of various photographic styles - we teach everything from photographing nature responsibly to designing and styling an advertorial flat lay image. We encourage development of their imagination and help them shine and evolve. Our modules are designed to enable children to create a beautiful portfolio of art they and their families can be proud of. We work with children to ensure they are stretching their talents and developing new skills every week. Schools that have identified students that show a gift or talent in the visual arts can consider a 5 or 6 week set of structured lessons as part of the schools Gifted and Talented programme.
