Last week I ventured out in search for a new couch. My first stop was Kiwi Home Store where I was met by friendly and welcoming staff. A luxurious comfortable cloud looking couch caught my eye, but I felt it would be too big for our needs. Since this was the first store I visited, I continued with my search and spent two days checking out many furniture stores around Auckland. Of all the stores I visited, I decided Kiwi Home Store was the one. I headed back and was helped by Anna who displayed a wealth of knowledge and answered the hundred of questions I had and helped me to ultimately decide to go with the very first couch that drew my attention. A few days later the couch was delivered to us, right before Christmas. Unfortunately there was a set of legs missing, but Mike urgently contacted the manufacturer and had a set couriered out to me and followed up with a few phone calls to keep me in the loop. Really appreciated this being resolved so quickly! This is hands down the best furniture place I have dealt with. Harvey Norman sales people felt a bit pushy and not so genuine. Highly recommend Kiwi Home Store for your next furniture or bed purchase. When I decide to upgrade and custom make my next couch, I will definitely head back there. Thanks team!

Working with limited space in a one bedroom apartment and the requirement of a modular couch up-to 3 separate pieces to fit through the door I could not be happier with the couch product from Kiwi Bed and Sofa's, Great price, very spacious, comfy and the color I wanted to suit everything else. The size was customized to fit beautifully and after our experience of going though 13 different stores selling modular furniture you find out that the furniture sits on a one piece frame that will not fit through our door. Kiwi Bed and Sofa's has everything we needed and more and I highly recommend them. Thank you Sonny and Susan. Darren - Dayna

Kiwi home store has some really good products as we bought a bed and sofa from them however this one incident spoiled my whole experience with them. We had advised them we are moving to a new flat and wanted the bed on a Friday. They confirmed this and said bed will be delivered at 5pm on Friday. Gave them few weeks of notice as well. Waited till 5.30pm on the day of delivery and no delivery arrived. Gave the company a call and was advised they didn’t have our bed on their delivery schedule! Told the manager I need the bed, we’ve moved to the new flat, I’ll have to stay at a hotel and kiwi home store need to be liable for the costs - received a No from the manager. The manager was so unhelpful and was not apologetic at all! I told the manager to sort this out as I need the bed, you cannot expect me to sleep on the floor for the weekend! After a few minutes, the manager said the delivery driver was supposed to finish off but is happy to come and deliver but needed a helping hand. The manager made it sound like due to my mistake the driver now has to work late and do delivery, and I need to help carry the bed from the truck into my room - why can’t the manager come and get it delivered himself if they made the error. Anyways, bed arrived and the store manager sent a 2nd person to help with the delivery. Was a disappointing experience, we probably will not purchase from this store again, and would like to tell others to ensure they call a day in advance of delivery and check with this company.

I highly recommend this company, we have brought two products ( our bed and now our couch) Both of these items are high end comfortably. We had difficulty choosing the colour of the couch. The sales staff gave us her honest opinion when we asked her which truly impressed us. Thank you so much.

Purchased beds (not on sale) from this retailer and very disappointed. I cannot help feeling as if I was scammed somehow. The beds ( bases with innersprung mattresses) manufactured in New Zealand by an Australian company A H Beard Ltd, I could overlook that the beds were delivered very late and with the wrong size legs. However I cannot overlook that something is wrong with the beds - you can feel every spring sticking into you, lumpy bumpy, and the most uncomfortable yet also the most expensive beds I have ever purchased. The shop demo model which I spend some time trying out did not have this problem! I suspect the beds I was delivered were actually 'seconds' or 'lemons - so to speak. Was there some switch over at some stage in the warehouse, factory, or en-route perhaps. I will never buy from this retailer again nor shall I ever buy this brand again.

Not a customer - I work here. This is a family owned small business who are very supportive of their staff and who offer a reasonable and liveable wage - not just the bare minimum they can legally get away with. I feel really lucky to be employed with kiwi home store!
